When Silence Feels Like Survival
Paired Journal: Mouth Full of Power: A Journal for When You Held Your Tongue and Kept Your Crown

There were seasons where silence felt like survival.

Not wisdom.
Not maturity.
Just survival.

I bit my tongue until it bled.
I nodded in meetings while my chest ached from swallowing truth.
I smiled when I should’ve screamed.

Because for a long time, I believed that staying quiet made me strong — that keeping the peace meant keeping my place.

But it didn’t feel like peace. It felt like erasure.

Until Spirit whispered,
“Daughter, you don’t have to bleed in silence to be considered graceful. You don’t have to earn rest by tolerating disrespect.”

That day, I picked up my pen.

And what I couldn’t say out loud, I began to write.

I wrote the moments that broke me.
The boundaries I wish I had set.
The words I wish I had screamed.

Not out of bitterness — but out of power.
Out of sacred release.

Because this voice of mine? It carries weight.
And now I know:

✨ I am not too much.
✨ I am not too loud.
✨ I am not too emotional.

I am powerful — and so is my pen.

📓 Mouth Full of Power is where I poured what I could no longer hold in.
If you’ve ever held your tongue to keep your job, your family, or your sanity… this journal is for you.

Your silence may have kept the peace —
But your truth will set you free.
